How do I get the minimap to stop showing details?

I'm using Rythal's fix for Carbonite, which is working fine for 5.0.4, but my minimap is suddenly showing details instead of the map. I don't like this. How do I fix it?

yes, it's something I need to look into still. It use to be going indoors messed up transparencies on the minimap causing it to go pitch black reguardless what transparency you had... as a fix they added the docking, so it goes solid in colour then docks.

The original problem has gotten worse now with the engine upgrades blizzard did and even standing in town would cause it, so I need to find the best solution for how to handle this, for now as a temporary measure I made it solid all the time.
