I read one of your replies where the editor crashed because of a check if the string contains anything that Lua "knows about".

I don't know if it's related to this or not, but when setting a frame name, you are not allowed to use underscores.

"$parent_text" would be valid, but wowuides isn't allowing it.

I just hadn't set the underscore character as a valid name character. It will be in for the next patch.
