Well it does seem to have worked. This is good.
That worked for me Gemminie, thank you very much...

You're missing dependencies for the mazzifier. Mouse over the mazzifier in your addon settings to see a list of them and which are missing.

not sure on yours... I'll look into it on the ptr once they're back up for 2.4.2...

Depedencies are libraries or other addons that are required by a given addon to function. Instead of trying to load he addon anyway when they are missing and throwing a lot of errors, WoW simply refuses to load addons w/ missing dependencies.
thank you for the response

Newest things I've noticed....

Here's a screen shot, just so people know what probs there are, not sure how many in the screen shot and I've listed are entirely Mazzle though.

http://members.dodo.com.au/~jakgrant1/WoW-Mazzle.jpg

1) When you or some enemy is selected, the text and the health bar, etc, are to the left a little not by a huge amount, but enough. Not a big deal but looks a little untidy. I've tried re-mazzifying, and that doesn't correct it.

2) I've noticed Fubar-Topscore doesn't seem to work. I assume this is an issue with 2.4 damage changes ? Not part of mazzle, but just thought I'd query it, so I can go looking for a Topscore update.

3) Forgot to take a screen shot of this one, but the ATSW for trades. Again I'm sure not part of mazzle ? But as a LW-er, it's a little annoying, cos you have two categories someone has called leather, and ones leather type and one's armor, gah :P

Anyway, I'm sure 2 and 3 aren't mazzle, but 1, maybe, so if any tidying up could be done, would be good.

Oh, it's also really only relevant to this week, but how do we change the clock in Mazzle and the time zone ? I've forgotten, because I'm on the Khaz'goroth realm, and Blizz isn't aware, their time is an hour behind, because Australia actually didn't finish DST when they were meant to.

Thanks in advance,

J.

PS. I was looking through bugsack, and understood finally how errors were reported, because I was using an addon outside of mazzle called recipe radar, which kept giving bugsack errors, but that was because it was missing a lib of some sort called astrolabe.

So, I went back and looked at the bugsack errors that keep getting reported from witch hunt. Now I don't know if someone has mentioned this in the post, but I found out the solution and fixed witch hunt. I've now not got a bugsack error immediately from logging into wow from witch hunt. What I did was look for a copy of LibSink 2.0. I couldn't see it on wowinterface, but found it elsewhere, so downloaded the lib, dumped it in the addon folder, and voila. Working witch hunt. Only prob is I have nfi what witch hunt is. LMAO

I seem to be the only one who has issues with antagonist .
I can see the enemy casting bar but thats all. Basically all bars that could be seen on the lower right of the HUD are gone. Does any1 has an idea?

Correction to what I said about witch hunt. gah

Well installing that lib I mentioned fixed only part of the prob, I am getting bugsack's listed.

Here's some of the errors, I might pull that lib out but it seemed to fix the initial witch hunt prob. There might be more, but I don't know if that helps any. I know witch hunt isn't a mazzle thing, but thought I'd bring it up.

I probably can't contribute with anything since all the errors have already been mentioned. Mazzifier doesn't work properly, but that could be related to any of many errors the BugSack grabs.

Characters that had already been mazzified work to an extent where I can perform well in 5-man instances and PvP, so it's no problem there, although it's apparent that they're not running 100% (0-32 errors in the BugSack on any given day).

However, compared to the 132 errors I got within the first 10 seconds on the first day after patch release, I'm optimistic that a fix will be found soon.

It's killing me when I can't play the game and I can't play it without MazzleUI. Not anymore.

Absolutely love this compilation and I hope it'll be up and running soon. Great job, Mazzle, and all the others who've helped along the years. Signing up for the forums in order to give you a thumbs up was the least I could do.

Jak, check the OP, the error you are getting is a preloader error, disable the line mentioned in the preloader/toc in the OP and bang, errors gone and witchhunt works again. Hope this helps.

I noticed that as well and also noticed that BOTH are being updated (although not at the same time) which gives me some cause for concern I think. It may be that both will be required depending on the add-on in question although one would hope that this would be resolved soon.

No, I know this, and it's been covered. The point I was making, and up above, was that I thought I'd found the witch hunt problem, because the Lib sink 2 library wasn't included in the witch hunt package, and the Lib sink 2 file was what causing some of the initial witch hunt problems. I checked myself through bug sack. But then I got the new errors for witch hunt after I included the lib.

As to OP ? I have no idea what OP is.

Well it does seem to have worked. This is good.
I hate my computer. Cannot open a .toc file =( so cannot use JWow and I really really want too, lol.

Trying it with just notepad.... if this works we know two things, I am lucky and I am not good with computers.

.TOC file

you can open .TOC files or .LUA files with wordpad or notepad or any text editor like that. Rightclick on that .TOC file select "open with" then select "choose program" then select the text editor you have (you can also check the "always use this program" or whatever its called so next time they will reopen with the same program. its text files so you can also use the find tool to search for the codes to change. Hope it helps and note that i use win XP so maybe the options path is different on other OS i cant remember exactly

Don't mean to harp, just offering a suggestion - OP = Original Post. I doubted it at first and tried about 50 different things to get Witch Hunt to work and stop erroring. (I love it for tanking, makes it easy to interrupt that way.) Finally I broke down and removed the line in pre-loader and VOILA! WitvhHunt works great now. I Like you was positive it was a library error, but none of my tinkering worked.

Disabled witchhunt and had a perfect Mazzle load.
Peneth, did you try deleting the line in Preloader.toc like the OP suggests? Would guess that will fix your witchhunt problem.

I have been following the forum posts about the changes to make post-2.4 to continue to use MazzleUI with existing characters and I have had success so far. I have performed the UnitNamePlayer changes, I have got TinyTip working, I have disabled Witchhunt, loaded Ace3 and so on, so my main character (21 Warlock) who was originally mazzified under 2.3 works fine for now.

I have updated all Addons that were available via WowAceUpdater (with the single exception of Autobar which is still sitting at DeTard's version).

Despite this, I have the following problem when creating and attempting to Mazzify a completely new character... a level 1 Tauren Hunter

1. Delete the WTF folder just for the new character (since I got the error once and have successfully reproduced it now and don't want to upset the other character I have)
2. Log on to that character - bugsack is completely empty and Miss Mazzle is patiently waiting in the middle of the screen for my attention.
3. Choose the following options :

1.6 ratio (1920x1200), all portions, normal font, complete configuration
Core Addons full, Class Specific yes, Aloft nameplates
PVP no, Auction yes, Alts no, Basic raid yes, Extra raid no, Big sack no, Buttons square
Extra timers yes, Stats no, Quests yes, Map notes yes (including fishing), Cast bar extra fancy, Damage/healing meter no, KLHthreat no
Mazzlefizz's Hunter Layout, Spells and action buttons yes
Noob123's Black metal skin
Bite my lip and hold it in

When I press the Mazzify button, I hear the "Fatality" voice but the "Push my button to finish the spell" DOES appear.

Checking the bugsack at this point reveals the following DUF error and the counter for bugsack continues to count up and up as long as I leave it to do so (at least 2000 errors if you leave it long enough)

===
1. DiscordUnitFrams\DUF_Element.lua:524: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

<string> "*:OnUpdate":1:in function <[string "*:OnUpdate"]:1>
===

The last lines of text visible in the Chat Box in the bottom left are :

Mazzlefizz MazzleUI : Chatframe1 is placed 14
Aloft Hostile Nameplates Enabled
Friendly Nameplates enabled

When I push the button to finish anyway, the Mazzification appears to complete but with the following problems...

1. There is a floating button for Mend Pet sitting in the middle of the screen
2. Although I have AutoShot skill on the button bars (mapped to 1), there is no icon for my other level 1 ability Raptor Strike (Rank 1). The ability is in the Knowledge Book, but not on the button bar
3. The fonts in the chat box are not the correct typeface or size. They are 14 point and the original "blocky' ones. Logging out and in fixes this with no further action taken.

I'd love to be able to play this character, so would appreciate advice on how to proceed.

Many thanks!
Daniel, you are not crazy, well not completely anyways. I have had the same issue for a LONG time. Do a mazzifcation, but try UNCHECKING Discord in the addon update panel, Mazzification should complete, then run just a DUF update, that should work, it is how I have been doing it for awhile now.

I Like you was positive it was a library error, but none of my tinkering worked.

OK .... can you explain exactly what you did?

Thank-you for the info. That is what I tried and hopefully Blizzard will get the realms back up soon so I can see if it worked. =)

I can try! :-)

No clue on pathing for the Mac, but here is the PC path, as long as you have a default install.
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\!!MazzleUI_Preloader\!!MazzleUI_Preloader.toc
## Interface: 20003
## Title: Mazzlefizz's |cFF006699MazzleUI Pre-loader|r
## Notes: MazzleUI utility to modify add-ons upon loading to work better for MazzleUI
## Author: Mazzlefizz/Tigerheart
## Version: 0.99b
## Dependencies:
Init.lua
Mods\AMP.lua
Mods\Autobar.lua
Mods\Antagonist.lua
Mods\ColorComboPoints.lua
Mods\Chronometer.lua

Mods\ShardAce.lua
Mods\SimpleCombatLog.lua
Mods\SmartDebuff.lua

Preloader.lua
That is the original file contents. REMOVE the "Mods\Witchhunt.lua" line, OR put ## in front of it. Save the file, start up WoW and all should be right with the world.

Note: Use any text editor to edit !!MazzleUI_Preloader.toc

PM if you have any questions.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to coding, but I followed the fix on page 7 as well as possible with my non-existing coding skills. I then proceeded to /mazzify but the second button didn't show.
I "solved" this by only checking the two bottom boxes on the "Which portions of the UI would you like to Mazzify?" - the second button showed, but the UI was still kinda weird. So I did another /mazzify, and this time checking only the middle button. If I try checking any of the two top boxes, my second Mazzifier button doesn't show. Now my UI looks like it's always done, although I guess it's not really working as intended.

I'm happy with my "fix", but also looking forward to a real fix from you guys. You're doing a fantastic job!!!

Hey Denwop, just a suggestion, try disabling cartographer and see if the errors go away.

Sixth... Lightheaded/nQuestLog/Cartographer_Waypoints... these are listed together because the problems is a mix of all three... The added feature of being able to link quests caused LightHeaded to be largely recoded this is causing at least two problems:
1. nQuestLog no longer properly opens Lightheaded when you select a quest.
2. Lightheaded doesn't properly create a waypoint in cartographer when a location is clicked.

Temporary solution:
remove the .svn folder from the nQuestLog folder
make sure WAU or JWoWUpdater are set to not split addons (this was the part breaking cartographer)
update from wowace.com (JWoWUpdater or WAU)
set the frame anchor for the nquestlog minion to TOPLEFT using the icon in FuBar
reposition to the corner it was in manually
I disabled LightHeaded after that last big patch break and learned to live without it. How does that affect the fix shown above?
