Mod that dismounts when trying to right click to mine?

Sorry, from a flying position. It can be a real pain when you can't properly land on a rock. Then there is a delay when you can try and land again. You either have to manually dismount at that point or wait and try to land again.

Careful if you do this, you'll dismount for *anything* at any height (as learned the hard way) :-)

Button to dismount while flying? I see a tick box to dismount but it doesnt work while flying.

Is there another option or something I am missing?

There is some addons that do what you are asking. Im not sure off hand what one would do it for mining but i know there is one or was one for dismounting at flight points. Personally i use the bliz auto dismount myself and i have never fallen.
