Indoor Minimap doesn't load if alpha is less than 100%

Does anyone know how to force the minimap to reload the background map? If the alpha is less than 100%, indoor maps don't load. I found a hacky way that isn't 100% effective, but I don't really like it. I set the alpha to 100% when AREA_POIS_UPDATED is fired and then set the alpha back after ~0.5 seconds. Thanks.
