At the risk of further derailing this thread (my specialty, apparently) it's not so much the face or the teeth... It's the "I've just butchered 10 people with a meat cleaver, and you're next" expression. I get a Norman Bates on meth vibe everytime I see it.

If I would do a minimal UI ever again. This is how it would look like...sort of.


The backdrop shadow behind any frame can be done by one function that creates a texture for that frame that has the size of the frame but is moved a bit to the side.

Actionbutton borders are tricky. Buff/Debuff borders are not.

Using a Pixel font, setting it to monochrom (no antialiasing) and using a fontshadow that is slightly off looks pretty cool.

I tried xCT for awhile, I liked it a LOT, but I needed the audio cues you can set up in MSBT. 'Entering Combat', 'Feign Death, you idiot!' , 'Survival Instincts down', etc. I have a lot of audio triggers, lol, but I did copy the setup of xCT, i.e the vertical scroll, large icon, truncated text.

Here's a current raid shot... but I'm not sure about the raid frame; using Everlu's textures to fit them into my UI 'theme' but I don't think it's working. As well, I don't know what is going on with Stuf's boss raid frames either.

May keep this one just awhile longer and then go with something new. Any suggestions on the raid/boss frames is welcomed!
