PetDetails. An idea for a Hunter Mod.

Hi,

I've got an idea for an addon for Hunters, which I believe might come in handy.

I realised the other day that my new Cat had a lot higher dps than my old one, although it was a couple of lvls lower. So I'd like a way of comparing my Pets stats.

What I'd like is some way of monitoring all of the stats & skills of the pets that I've got in my stable. Basically something that pops up a window with something along the lines of the table below:

Name, Type, Lvl, Agi,Sta,Str etc, DPS, Armor, Growl Lvl, Cower Lvl, Prowl Lvl, Resitences etc
Pet 1
Pet 2
Pet 3

This would allow us Hunters to monitor what the pet lvls are, amounts of damage etc, and just to compare what's what.

I'm quite happy to have a bash at coding this myself, but I'd like to know if
1) This is possible? I'd rather not spend days trying to code it then find out it's not gonna happen

2) Anyone have any tips on where to start. I've not developed any UI stuff before so any pointers greatfully recieved.

3) Anyone else thinks that this is a good idea?

Anyway better pretend to do some work.
