I'm not really sure about that last one...you could try deleting that e and see if that makes it work. It should work but maybe it's a different encoding of that character...?

If you keep having problems with it I'll load it up this weekend when I have some time and try to figure out what's going on.

ok i have gone over some of the data base and changed some of the facts but the only way i could tell if the fact had a problem was by spamming my self the word fact and if i got an error i would search for the previous fact to find it, try change what i thought was wrong with, then save it and try again.

as you can guess, this is very slow and confusing as i can copy and paste out the fact normaly in my guild chat with no problems.

is there a compiler that highlights these errors before i go into the game ?

Sorry, I really don't know. I opened it in vi and gedit and it was really obvious which ones were bad characters. That might just be because of my fonts though.../shrug

Its no problem dude. im not asking you to fix it. im just looking for a compiler or editor that highlights the problematic facts.

you said vi and gedit made it obvious, what are those two like ?
