Addon version naming

I often find that same addon have different naming version on Curse vs Minion. Or i first updated addon on Curse but when i check for addon that are hosted only on WOWInterface Minion gives me otion to update.Cant authors get to some decision to name same version of addon with exact same name on Curse and Wowinterface?
