Action bars

Not sure if there is a topic about it, or if I come off as an idiot, but I just started wow back up. Quit a few months back, and decided I wanted some thing completely new. Fell in love with nUI right off the bat. The only problem I seem to have is I can't really configure much, my main thing is, I want to move my action bar. And replace it with bartender. Or move my micro menu around. Is this possible? Some command I am not informed about?

First, with regard to disabling nUI's action bars... http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=23350 -- why would you want to? What's your reasoning in replacing them with Bartended?

Moving the micro-menu is easy enough to do... just type '/nui movers' to unlock the movable parts of nUI and drag the large red pet battle frame out of the way... you can then drag the micro-menu anywhere you want it. When you're done, right-click the red pet battle frame to return it to the default location and type '/nui movers' again to lock everything back down.

Because, I don't like having to scroll through my keys, even though I don't click them all, I still like to see ALL my keys. Which is why I, when I did play WoW a few months back I had my UI like this(This is of me by the way, my own screen, I was showing ALL of my addons at once to my friend, lol you can see the FPS drop, good thing I've upgraded (: )

Does this mod have an option to add more bars, ect? I just love being able to see ALL my keys, no matter how small they are or such.

Also, on an unrelated note, it's either a problem with sexy map, or this addon, I can't see any of my addon icons around the map. On sexy map, I put all addon icons on "show always" Still no luck. Also, a way to move the tooltip? Gets in the way when I pick up a quest or ect...

Oh, and I see now... There are more action bars, I just was never able to see them, my apologies.

Another edit: How would I load a profile that I have on another character, and or make a profile default?
Also, is there anyway to remove blizzard art with this addon? I have to use bartender each time to remove the crappy thing at the bottom.

I am going to *strongly* recommend that you follow the instructions in this FAQ on how to go about installing nUI: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=37330

Start with a clean slate... if you're just going to use a compilation of other stuff, then there's no point in you using nUI at all. Start with just nUI, Skada, DBN and Recount and that it. Then *if* you find something that's making you crazy that you don't have it anymore add it... or ask in the forums as it may be there and you're just not seeing it.

As for your missing minimap buttons... look in the minimap buttonbag in nUI... it's the extra button on the bag bar. You'll find all of the "missing" buttons in there.

You do not have to scroll through any buttons with nUI. If you have installed it correctly, then it displays every bar that WoW offers... plus 1.

I would also highly recommend you take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with this post... it shows you what everything is, and where it is, in nUI... http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21108 -- along the same lines, it might serve you well to read through this FAQ for an idea of all of the command options that are built in to nUI... http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21199 -- those FAQs should help you get a sense of what's going on and help you adjust to nUI a bit better.

I'm not sure what Blizz art it is that you're trying to remove... nUI hides most of it from the default UI, so if you're seeing default blizz art then something is wrong and I'll point you back to the FAQ about how to properly install nUI.

Yes, as I said, I am sorry for just going straight to a topic for answers. I don't use anything else now, and I must say, that button bag is brilliant. I think I got most of it figured out, I just have been frustrated enough with a bunch of broken addons, didn't feel like reading through a bunch of other support topics. This addon is absolutely amazing. Only addon I seem to be using besides it now that I've figured it out, is sexy map, because I couldn't adjust the size of the minimap on the addon.

Sorry for asking yet another stupid question, as I should read, but I don't even think you associate with this. The name tags above enimies, mobs, ect. I hate the default, and have been using tidy plates, but I wanted something rather different.

Yeah... nUI does not, at this time, do anything with name plates.

Have you moved the minimap out from the default location? It should be the lower center of the dashboard and not require resizing. If it is in the top right corner of the screen, try turning SexyMap off, then using '/nui minimap' to move it back to the center where it belongs. It should be nicely tucked out of the way there.
