Carbonite

I have the carbonite logo on my map but any mouse click either left or right has no effect. My "M" key doesn't do anything either. I installed the latest version of Carbonite. Help!

Can you post a directory path to Carbonite.toc, CarboniteTransfer.toc and CarboniteNodes.toc

Just want to make sure it's installed correctly

That sounds similar to when you have a carbonite.toc and carbonite.xml file, but no carbonite.lua file in the Carbonite folder. In that case you should be getting a red error message.

It can also be a major initialization error happening, but Lua errors are off.

Press ESC key and select "Interface". Click "Help" in the list. Now make sure "Display Lua Errors" is checked and click the "Okay" button at the bottom of the window. Log out and back in to see if any errors appear. If so, then what does it say?

Interface issue

As requested and the result:

Interface\Addons\Carbonite\Carbonite.lau:13332:attempt to index field 'Map1' (a nil value).

Hope this helps.

That means the map was not initialized correctly.

Try:
1 Reboot computer
2 Delete Interface\Addons\Carbonite folder
3 Download Carbonite again
4 Unzip to Interface\Addons
5 Start game and try it

Unhappy I had the same problem, i now have the no show in addons problem

I have deleted and reloaded carbonite 5 times now hoping that it would get it right. I even loaded Minion and tried it that way, it is in the addons folder, but it is not showing up on the addons file on the log in page. I am not having any errors show up now, I deleted the errors and started fresh with the last download.

Here are my paths.
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\interface\AddOns\Carbonite
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\interface\AddOns\CarboniteNodes
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\interface\AddOns\CarboniteTransfer

Is there a C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\interface\AddOns\Carbonite\Carbonite.toc file?

Open the file in notepad. Does it have a "## Title: Carbonite 3.201" line?

If yes to both, then most likely you have WoW installed somewhere else and you are running the other copy. Use file search on c: and look for "World of Warcraft".

Right click on your shortcut to World of Warcraft, choose Properties, and look at the path. The path listed there, is the installation you're running, and hence the place you want to extract Carbonite to.
