Auctioneer scan for every char?

Hi,

do I have to scan AH for all chars separate with Auctioneer?
Or does every char uses the same datas.
So is it possible to scan with only one char, and t use the scanned datas with the other chars too?

The SavedVariables are available to all your characters on THAT server. (I am not sure if Horde and Alliance share the data since the merging of both.)
