XP gains in the game world

This isn't an addon problem per se, but it's affecting my UI regardless.

If I kill a mob on my alt, the amount of experience gained pops up over his head. I know this isn't an addon problem because it's actually in the game world, and stays at the spot where the xp was gained even if I move away.

My problem is that I don't want it to pop up in the game world, I'd rather have it show up on SCT, MSBT, or similar addons; It's redundant having it in the game world (and I don't like purple.)

Anyone have any ideas on how to turn it off?

When I had SCT I think it disabled the Blizz XP text for me.

From my minimal testing, it does not disable the XP gain.
