Actually, getting drunk in-game can report faulty level information to you -- it's to reflect overconfidence when one is drunk.

A small bug report in 2.00.05:

Whilst in combat I noted that I was still in the Party UF Layout so I took a moment to switch it to Solo. Upon doing so, I realized that my target frame disappeared on me. Switching back to Party brought back the target frame. In fact, the target frame didn't return to the solo & 10m layouts until I started another fight in Party mode and finished the fight in Party mode (w/o any switching). Then I was able to switch to the solo mode w/o any problems. I don't know if this has to do with Blizzard's crazy restrictions on mods during combat or not ... a minor annoyance on my end, but annoying enough to merit some attention.

Had the same bug as IO tonight.

Also noticed that once my flask reached < 1 hour the timer was not always present.

BTW speed wise I did see some improvement but I was in solo mode and not in party/10 raid.

Can't really compare the figures since tonight was BT and not MH's AoE fest but it did feel a lot smoother.

I'll take a look and see if I can track down why the target frame is getting hosed between UF panels. I'm going to guess it's that dreaded combat taint issue. In order to try and reduce costs, I unregister unit watches when the UF panel is not in view and re-register them when the panel is selected, I didn't think that would taint, but I bet you Bliz is tainting that, too.

Is this the Beta 2 Fred, or the publicly available release? And was this as soon as you logged in, or did it move while in game play?

I can't think of any reason why the location of the HUD would ever change as there are no twiddles done anywhere to HUD location. The only options, in Beta 2, on the HUD are to select which mode to use and the gap between left and right sides (in the next update).

Public release version ( beta...I wish!! lol). Yup, right on login....but wasn't always like that. I can delete my SV's , so no biggie..just wanted to let you know.

Well... I had hoped and planned to get another update out tonight, but the buttonbag turned into a huge ordeal. I finally sorted it out, but I'm exhausted, so I'm going to call it quits for tonight without doing the update.

We'll shoot for #6 going out the door sometime Friday.

Exclamation Beta 2 Pre-release #6 has just been mailed out...

NOTE: This post is for the benefit of nUI supporters and translators who are assisting in the pre-release testing of Beta 2... the version being referred to here is not currently available for download.

Lot’s of new things in this update and it should address a good many of the issues that folks have been having. That said, there are some key elements still missing… the threat bar, combo points for rogues, range to target (and party members), etc. So… I will be doing one last update Sunday night to include (hopefully) all of the translated localization files for everyone except Korea (still don’t have a translator there) as well as the last of these missing features and (hopefully) the rest of the bug fixes. The first public release will take place Monday night in whatever state we find ourselves in unless you guys turn up some horrendous bug between here and there.

Please do let me know any problems or issues you come across (that aren’t already documented below).

For the translator team, I’m sending you the current localization files under separate cover immediately following this e-mail. Please try to have them back to me by Sunday so I can include them in the last pre-release update.

EDIT: I stand corrected, like noble8, my bagbar is just misplaced. However mine overlaps the top right of my right action bar and hides beneath top left of the minimap.

You have been a busy man, that is a long list of stuff. Now that raiding is over for the week I will load this latest version and see if I find any bugs. Thanks for the update!

I am still planning to make a donation when the new version is released so that I feel like I have some legitimacy when I show up with my list of cry baby changes that I'm sure I will have after a few days of raiding with the version 2.

Just booted up 06, I like the new additions.... However -grin-

The bagbar overlaps with the top of the minimap/combatlog and the right of the bottom right action bar.
Is there away of putting the button bag to the right of the minimap please . I don't use the bagbar, leaving it hidden from now on, but i cannot access the shinny buttons without it present, and overlapping as stated above.

I'm going to guess that in both your cases, the bag bar is blown up because the button bag blew up. That's the thing with how the LUA and WoW API work... once one thing breaks, then everything that was supposed to happen after that is broken, too.

I'm working on figuring out why the buttonbag is blowing up on you guys.

Spiel,

I am having all kinds of issues with this release, errors, missing options, etc.

I deleted the WTF Folder and cache folder as well as removed all add-ons except for NUI, I am missing the mini map, the hud, etc etc etc.

Help Please!!

Results in bag bar not showing ...

EDIT: I stand corrected, like noble8, my bagbar is just misplaced. However mine overlaps the top right of my right action bar and hides beneath top left of the minimap.

Pretty much get the same thing, I was able to play with it some, but then is just completely blew up again.

I just e-mailed everyone a patch... I'm hoping that fixes it.

I'm really curious why some of you do not have a voice chat button though.... that's odd. In any event, this patch should trap that error.

And is it possible to move the button bag to the right of the minimap like in beta 1?
