Updating X perl

I am currently using a older version of xperl. I would like 2 down load the newest version w/ out messing up what I already have set. Is there just a update down load or do I remove xperl completely and down load the new version and install it. Thank you for the help and sorry about all the questions, but I am new to this ui thing. TY

Depending on how old your X-Perl version is I would suggest deleting it before installing the lastest version. I don't think any settings (except for new ones) will change at all since the settings for the add-on itself is saved with saved variables and doesn't save to the same location the add-ons do.

I second Pigl33t's suggestion. As long as your XPerl isn't really old you shouldn't have nay problems upgrading. Backup your XPerl's addon and savedvariables beforehand just to make sure.
