Opinions Regarding !NoTaint

Good evening,

I thought I would look for some opinions regarding the taint aversion Addon on WoWAce called !NoTaint. Other than it embedding LibChatAnims, can anyone comment on whether or not the code is successful in averting any taint issues in 5.4.X?

The description is vague at best, and doesn't really elaborate on what the real issues are, and how the AddOn attempts to remedy those issues.

I have little knowledge of how general practices induce game-debilitating taint issues, thus I have no way of knowing what the code is really doing.

I don't think it's worth having it anymore, the issues can't be fixed even with the addon, or the taints still happen but don't cause any issues ingame anymore (talent and specc change errors.), so it's pointless to even to try to fix it.

I've never used it. Even without LibChatAnims, I only ever had intermittent issues with the glyph frame, despite running many addons that added chat filters and at least two that modified the chat tabs themselves. After adding LibChatAnims I haven't had a single problem, so I don't think !NoTaint is useful anymore (if it ever was).

I still use it, but that's because I like that it throws an error informing me when something possibly breaks. It doesn't stop any taints from happening though.
