Range/Radar mod?

I recently came across a video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVRnkZaRtAc, and next to the raidframes, there is a range/radar mod, and it looks very interesting, wondering if anyone has a clue what it is?

the new version of dbm will have a radar option too to go with text one, it'll actually be the new default instead of radar. available now in alpha off DBM site. It's similar to bigwigs one but also supports additional modes like raid target icons in place of dots when a player is marked with a lucky charm, and raid icon filtering like text one has, where it can be coded to show ONLY people with raid icons and ignore anyone else and variable update rates so you can choose whether you want it in real time, or low cpu usage. (updating dots for 25 people every 0.05 seconds may not be for everyone)
