WIP for v7

Going for a more "Classic" WoW look.

Deciding on if I should go with black (Top) or Classic (Bottom) for UF color: http://surl.se/fqmr

On my list to do for it is the following (no particular order):

* Stay with current buffs/debuffs display (standard UI with dream buff) or switch to ebb or ct_buffs (i actually like ct_buffs)
* swap out nquestlog for beq or quest_fu
* drop chartographer and add in tekMapEnhancer w/tomtom for coords on the main map.
* Add Stancebar and Minimap boarder texture
* Darken UFs
* Add in simple cast bar time
* Drop Autobar for bars that fade out or Klappa. I don't like the new autobar as much as the old one
* Anything else I can think of along the way to completing this... lol

pssttt. I like everything, but the unit frames aren't very good That's basically the only thing I never liked about the blizzard UI, the unit frames. I'm sure others have different opinions but that's just mine ;p

I've actually liked them myself after making/using all kinds of UF mods lol.

Definitely looking forward to this! It is a great approach to trying to stay true to the original Blizz UI and yet minimalist all at the same time, so as to be sleeker and more refined.

I'll be honest, I have never downloaded one of your compilations before, but I have always watched them, much like many others out there. I really like the direction you are going with this and will most likely be downloading it.

Keep up the good work!

P.S. - I think the default skinned unit-frames go much better with the artwork. If you can come up with something to match the textures, I'm sure there would be some other options that would look just as well. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the textures added for the other bars.

Thanks, I am going to try and darken the original UF artwork.

I just need to get the art work that's around the stance bar and fix what I did for quarts to make it look like the original in game cast bar, for some reason when the game loads the texture goes behind quartz .

Here is a another preview pic with map and cast bar done: http://surl.se/fsvn

Alpha1:
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...Iv8_Alpha1.jpg

Alpha2:
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...Iv8_Alpha2.jpg

v8 Notes
Alpha 1:

Nameplates broke, not sure what caused it.
In BGs oUF adding/Removing random player frames (i think it was focus and party targets)

Alpha 2:

Removed oPannel and IHasNoScope. Not sure which one broke nameplates but they are working after deleteing WTF and install all but hose two addons.

oUF --> Pitbull
LynStats --> SLTimex
LitheTooltip --> TinyTip (Thrae's svn)

Removed: oPannel, IHasNoScope, MSBT

oChat Edited so combat text Justified Right

Added: tekBufftimes, tekJunkSeller, tekAccept

Alpha 3 Plans:

Add oPannel back in.

Work on ingame fonts.

Relook at oUF and edit to hide party in raid, change UF look, set different look between party, player/target, pets, and ToT (similar to evl_oUF setup)

The UF layout is pitbul actually, sorry don't have that layout anymore.
I lost it trying to fix the problem with oPannel (I haven't figured out why it's breaking the nameplates either, I don't see anything in the code...going to ask Haste about it).

I can tell you that I got the layout from Lyn's v3 UI though

I'm still looking into getting oUF going though. I might end up using evl/my branch though instead of haste's new version. Just didn't have time yet and it was easier to get Pitbull going.

Starting with the next update, version numbers will be changing to date of upload instead of the currently used incremental system.

I am not looking to make completely different UI layouts really anymore like I use to. I have found one that I always end up returning to and plan on just making minor changes and updates as needed to it for the time being.
