Idea for an "audio" alert mod

I know there are already mods that incorporate audio alerts...and futher, I know that alot of players are annoyed by audio alerts. I however, would think for myself, a bit more audio feedback and a bit less text feed back, would allow for me to be more efficient in many aspects of the game. So I don't know if it's been done before (if it has could someone please point me towards it) but I was thinking a general mod that would give audio alerts for specific events (kind of like bonzai announces aggro)...along the lines of:

-whenever there is a vein/herb in the area...instead of having to scan your minimap to look for it...

-whenever a roll is needed, or a boe is dropped

-quest completion

-new mail arrival

etc...etc...

I know different mods in some instances will do the above and more, but is there a mod out there (configurable and intuitive) that will allow for a wider range of events?

Detecting veins/herbs - impossible without user mousing over minimap / herb ingame.

Others should be doable.
