Feature request: custom backdrops and textures

maybe add to the element properties area the ability to define custom textures or bg files....
or would that not work w/ the renderer?

i'm guessing your program takes the layout the user gives it and converts it to xml, hence the inability to render custom ui's not made w/ the program? or even addons made w/ it but moved to another directory or renamed outside the program.
