Aside from that, playing in a wide-screen mode will increase the relative size of buttons and text, other than that and what's stated in the linked messages, I'm afraid what you see is what you get.

I'm aware of this new taint issue and working on it.

As for the issue with Dr. Damage, when you get a chance, can you please post the error messages for that? I've had no problem with it aside from on my Death Knight where Dr. Damage goes out to lunch.

I don't think the game liked the changes to that DrDamage file. The game kept crashing every few minutes during battle, so I took out DrDamage and the crashes stopped.

Let me know if you need any more info from me, and I'll do my best to tell you what I can.

Scott - aye - I apologize if you took offense to what I was meaning. I looked at some of the infopanel stuff - and creating a new panel isn't hard. You're 100% correct it's the hooking the target data and figuring out how to push it down there

I've picked up the WoW Addon Programming book...maybe i'll fiddle some.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT - DON'T USE IT. You didn't pay for it. Scott didn't write it for YOU. He wrote it for himself and was gracious enough to share it with us. There's little he's done with nUI that you can't go out and replicate with a bunch of individual addons that YOU pick out, YOU layout, and YOU configure to YOUR liking.

You were told that you could go through the files and remove the references to the casting bar so they wouldn't show, and then put in whatever replacement bar you wanted...you said you didn't have time for that.

Know what? Too damn bad.

Sil - drop me a PM with an email address. I'll ZIP my my DrDamage folder and my DrDamage savedvariables file and email it to you to try. I don't crash during battle, etc...tho I don't check the logs for any errors - none pop up in !Swatter tho.

No offense taken at all... just wanted to make sure the record was clear as the last thing I want to do is scare people off of creating info panel plugins for nUI... in fact, I want to encourage others to do that, so I just wanted to jump quick and point out that adding panels to nUI is easy, it's just the matter of knowing what to hook in the other code that is at all difficult.

I just recently started using nui and I only have one problem with it. I would prefer if the buffbar was movable. I can't for the life of me find a buff mod that's simple to set up and use.

I looked through the code and (with my limited knowledge of lua) I can't figure out how to change where the buff frame is anchored. If I knew what values to change I could tweak it until I got it in the right spot.

You don't want to edit the code, you want to edit the skins... which skin depends on which buff bar. The HUD skins are in nUI\HUD\Skins and the unit frame skins in nUI\Units\Skins -- You're looking for the ["Aura"] section in the skin which will define all the aura bars (helpful, harmful, etc)

To the best of my knowledge pretty much all of the frames are already movable... there's a few I've missed, but not many. You just have to mouse over the frame and you should see a tooltip come up that says to drag the frame to move it.

First off, I have to say I really love this addon and I am glad I found it when I returned to WoW last month. Works great and I enjoy having everything so compact.

One question I have and I didnt have time to read 98 pages now, has Blizzard changed the way tool tips and spell bars works? What I have happening right now that I dont think I really like is the tooltips for my spells not showing when I am in combat. now it's not that big of a concern on my mage where I know all the spells very well, but for other classes I randomly play, it would be nice to see what the spells or actions do while I am in combat. A lot of the spell pictures are similar and get confusing if you dont play the class a lot. What i am wondering is, am I missing something in an options folder or did blizzard or yourself remove the feature to see spell tooltips while in combat? Any help on this would appreciated, thanks.

No... you're not missing anything in the config and no Bliz did not change how the tooltips work. This was a feature I added by popular demand to block tooltips in combat so they didn't interfere with the screen, action buttons, performance, etc.

However, that said, it's becoming clear that I need to option this feature on and off as there seem to be enough people asking about it to warrant that. I'll try and fit it into the schedule for this weekend's update.

Sloth -- if you disable ALL of your mods (including nUI but excluding Swatter), do you still get that error?

If not, if you then enable ONLY nUI and Swatter, do you get the error then?

hey first off i love this ui. i just found it yesterday and fell in love with it. great job!

just have two questions. i dont like where the self buffs/debuffs and target buffs/debuffs are. can i remove them? i play a death knight and the only buffs/debuffs (self and target's) i like to see are my own and i have timers for those.

the second one is the OOR and dead signs over party members can i turn that off?
