TasteTheNaimbow

Not sure if this is in the right place, so please move the thread if it isn't.

There is an old addon called TasteTheNaimbow that received a fan update when WotLK hit in November, as the original author no longer supports it (it was previously a part of the now-defunct Cosmos addon group). Being vision impaired, this addon is a huge deal for me, so I wanted to appeal to all of you super authors out there to see if anyone would be willing to take the fan update done in November and update it for 3.1. I would be most appreciative if anyone would be willing to do that. Thanks in advance, and everyone keep up the good work!

You might want to try the new colorblind feature in the default WoW options. I don't know if it will help with your type of disability, though.

Unfortunately it doesn't help. This addon breaks up the monotony of the same colored chat by assigning colors to each toon name, so that you are not just seeing all green or all white or whatever. It's tough to distinguish names without that break up.

Prat 3.0 maybe able to help with changing up the colors in the chat. It allows coloring of names to correspond to their class, as well as level indicators and other things.

I love(d) this mod.

It was, quite literally, the first mod I ever installed.
And it is still my (sentimental) favorite, even though it no longer works.

Prat 3.0 works just fine. Or were you talking about something else?

I'll miss TasteTheNaimbow, but Prat 3.0 is proving to be a more than adequate second choice. Thank you for the suggestion!

Prat is a bit overkill if all you want is that feature. Prism or similar will do the job just fine.
