Uninstalling XLootGroup, no more default grouploot window!

Hi there,...

as you maybe noticed, XLootGroup still hasn't been updated since 2.2 patch, that's why i decided to uninstall it and just live with default (group) loot window. But, as this addon doesn't get updated and screwes (sorry to say that, but it's true) the default group loot window, i was wonder how to get default group loot window back? since i uninstalled xlootgroup, it doesn't show anymore and i am "passing" everything...

i checked:

Lua files and layout-cache.txt in "World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\YourAccountName\YourServer\YourCharacterName" directories, but the XLoot (nor XLootGroup) is nowhere to be found.

please help me out, i don't even want to go to instance since i would just pass everything :S

thank you for your help!

I'm having zero issues with the current versions of all the XLoot family addons.
XLoot / XLootGroup / XLootMaster / XLootMonitor .

You might need to edit the .toc file of xlootgroup/master/monitor and put
##Interface: 20200
or check the "Load out of date addons" checkbox in your AddOns selection screen
before you pick the char to play but other than that xloot is "current".

You delete XLoot* folders from you AddOns folder
and XLoot.lua from
\WTF\Account\<YOURLOGINNAME>\SavedVariables\
folder.
while exited from the game.
Then you log back in and you're back to your default loot windows
(provided you don't have another addon messing with them)

That should be enough.

If you want to get really thorough (shouldn't be needed)
Go into
\WTF\Account\<YOURLOGINNAME>\<YourServerName>\<YourChar>\
open layout-cache.txt in a proper text editor (not windows notepad)
notepad++, ultraedit, editplus.. anything that understands unix line breaks.
Find the section that reads
Frame: XLootFrame
FrameLevel: 5
Anchor: CENTER
X: 226
Y: 25
W: 222
H: 58
or similar (will be different values in your case) and delete it.

There no trace left.
If you still can't see your default lootwindows it's not XLoot's fault, you have something else messing with them.

Xloot and it's family hasn't given me a single error since patch. Working fine.

Xloot more importantly won't "screw" with your default settings. Remove the mod and it's removed. If you are still having problems it is another mod, or something (or somone) happened to one of your files.

Dridzt gave the instructions to remove the addon and it's SV files.

XLoot, for me, continues to be a very well behaved mod, including under 2.2.

Zero errors for me.

Get the latest collection of all things XLoot* via the WowAceUpdater. Before logging into the game delete ALL files called XLoot*.* in every folder under your WTF folder structure, including in every folder and sub folder.
