I'll have to look into Corruption icon again. Last time I tested I couldn't get it to show up with the non-Immolate icon no matter what I tried.

It works as long as I haven't just respeced from Destruction. A /reload fixes it.

EDIT: It's weird, the Immolate icon after a respecc is persistent. It doesn't go away even with no hostile targets selected.

I thought I fixed that in v2? Sure you're using the latest download?

Ahh. I aren't actually tracking Corruption for Destruction atm, but I am tracking Immolate for Destruction. Should this be changed?

Another thing I've just noticed.

When switching the power mode, the skada icon disappears. Is there anyway to get it back?

Tracking Corruption as Destruction should track Immolate, I think.
Since /cast Corruption casts Immolate as Destruction.

In that case, that bug might still be there since I thought I fixed it up early yesterday.

Actually, I just tried to change it and if you track Corruption as Destruction, it won't track Immolate at all even though if you /cast Corruption is casts Immolate.

Ahh. Interesting, looks like /cast Corruption still works, but is now outdated? Now it's just Immolate in the spellbook.

just looked at the screenshots for beta8 and it looks amazing!

haven't had a chance to try it out yet (won't be able to play for a few weeks) but i was wondering if your grid has HoT timers (and if not, if it's something that you could integrate). the reason i ask is that, until now, i've always just added GridStatusHots + GridIndicatorCornerText myself but it looks like you're using Grid2 now. afaik, those two addons aren't really supported anymore but they've worked fine for me... i'm not sure whether they exist for grid2 as well though.

thank you so much, as always, for your awesome work!

I tried a few things in the LUA file and now the problem is just while not in combat. Which is very weird.

I made Affliction track only BoA, Demo track only BoD and Destro track neither (the other specs continue to track the other DoTs though) in the LUA file and no the Immolate icon doesn't show for Demonology while in combat. But as soon as I leave combat it's there.

Hmm... I'm still hesitant on doing much with Grid healing wise. Every healer has their own priorities, and there's so many different healing specs and playstyles...

I think a default setting where something like a spec's primary HoT would make sense for all healers. Renewing Mist, Rejuvenation, Spirit Shell, Eternal Flame and Riptide could all fit on the same Icon and just tracking that is good enough for a lot of people.

And I think I found the issue with Immolate after a respecc. It seems to get stuck on tracking Immolate if you respecc while Immolate is still ticking. But since that's not something that will ever happen unless at a target dummy, it's not so bad.

ah i see. my additions were solely to keep track of (showing numerical countdown via CornerText) hots on grid. i've never found a way to show hots on multiple targets in party/raid without cluttering the UI even more.

however, i understand your hesitation ^_^ my main isn't a healer so it's not really a dealbreaker for me. i look forward to trying beta8 anyways :P

As I've been saying this for a while, I STRONGLY support what he's saying. The healing Grid itself isn't necessarily the best grid configuration a healer could have. I don't mind healing and have kind of been avoiding it as I'm not very good at customizing things, and over all it isn't the best to heal with. HOT's should be mandatory, as no matter what type of play-style you may have, its a necessity. Same with incoming heals. I haven't tried it out on the new healing grid..... but showing incoming heals on targets are another necessity I can think of. For a healer at least. Not just incoming heals from that player, but from everyone.

The static Avenging Wrath Aura isn't really relevant for Holy Paladins. Neither is Ardent Defender for Protection.

But that really depends on how you view how the purpose of the static auras really. To me they seem like things you'd want to use on cooldown or always keep up, while tanking and healing roles don't really work that way. But what's your stance?

That's pretty much my stance on them. They should be for things that you need to keep active, and need to keep an eye on at all times. Keeping them static helps the brain with keeping track of them, and showing that they're inactive is a good reminder to get them active

Basically, anything essential to your rotation.
