Minimap blank/black

Was wondering if there is a known problem with the minimap being black? It shows the coordinates but the rest is just black.

Also on the 3D characters on self and target there is a icon on it in the shape of a speaker or volume control looking icon and it very often obstructs the showing of the lvl of my target. Is there any way to get rid of it?

there is a sticky thread named "known issues in 2.4", if you have read it you would have known that this is a "known issue" and shortly after that a solution ist provided: just type in "/rl" and reload everything, everything should work now.
