But I continue reading the online tutorials and such that I find, even in unusual places

Dan Gilbert and James Whitehead's book 'Hacking World of Warcraft' is also scarce in Australia, I was lucky enough to have the publisher send me a copy off the first run (so I could read what Dan was saying about me!) but I have only ever seen it once at Borders.

Amazon is my friend, books from the US are mostly half price compared to aus pricing before shipping, so if you don't need it in a hurry (standard international shipping), you can end up WAY in front.

I'm fairly certain that you can copy over up to 4 characters. Not sure what the cap on slots is per realm, but there are multiple realms, so you could copy 4 chars and still create a DK or two. or three...

The collective impatience in this thread amuses me, but makes me sad that I don't any longer seem capable of such youthful levels of excitement.
