Comp Restarts at Welcome Screen

A guildie is having problems with his comp restarting at the welcome screen every time he loads WoW. I pointed him here, but he's not very computer literate; so figured I'd ask and maybe help explain the answer to him. He runs Vista and uses an eVGA card for which he just downloaded new drivers for. This is all the info I have currently. Any help would be most appreciated.

And he can't be running SP3, if he has vista, its only at sp1.

SP3 hasn't given me any issues.

Is your guild mate using any addons? If he is, have him move his Interface folder and see if that fixes it.
