dev nUI+ 5.02.06 works..but..

Was there a particular reason to put the vehicle "overlay" in the top center of the screen, as opposed to the right side, which is the way it is in the default interface? This right side config seems better as it takes up less of the valuable "center screen" HUD area......

(and i'm specifically talking about the Traveler's Tundra mammoth overlay...haven't really tested with other vehicles yet)

The problem with using the top right corner of the display is that is the location of the PvP Objectives, capture bar, etc. which can all be very dynamic and would make the location of the seat indicator very difficult with a great deal of interference. Then the right center is overrun with the target auras. Likewise, the upper left corner of the display is the quest tracking as well as tooltips and player/pet auras all of which can already get busy. And, of course, the bottom of the display is consumed. So the center was kind of the "only place left"

How about using the Right side frame where stuff like Recount is now?

Because in instances and BG where you have a vehicle they will want to be able to see both at the same time.

I didnt like where it ws either so i used /nUI movers and parked it just above the bagbar. Try that and see how you like it. Or move it any other damn place you like lol

The only problem with putting it over the bag bar is that if you're not running the nUI_AuraButtons plugin, it overlaps with the target's debuffs.

Blech, must have my aurabuttons lol. But seriously, my point was that its movable and if they dont like where it is they can move it wherever the hell they want. So they either dont know its movable using '/nui movers' or they are being way to picky. Either way umm... sthu and move it where you want lol. The only place where i can possibly see any complaint could be made is about it is its size.
One nice thing about nUI is that it is so easy to move most of its elements around.

The last release 5.03.00 actually addresses the size issue as well with a new slash command...

/nui mountscale {n}

0.5 <= {n} <= 1.5

The default is '/nui mountscale 1' which is the current size. Values < 1 make is smaller and > 1 make is bigger.

So... '/nui mountscale 0.75' would make it 3/4 of the current size.
