Map Notes with 3-Button Mouse?

I use a 3-Button Mouse. How can I add a note to the Carbonite Map? Your procedure calls for "Press Shift + 4th Mouse Button". Is there a keyboard alternative for adding the note? TIA.

All you have to do, really, is hover the map where you want your note, right click, and chose "Note" in the pop-up menu. A "note box" will pop up, write your note, click save, and you're done. Puts a nice little icon on the map and everything. Hover the icon, and read your note without having to open anything else.

R-Clicking is prolly the easiest way, as jeffy162 suggested, but you can also change those button options around.

Goto Options (R-Click Map and select options)
Make sure Map on left is selected.
Scroll Right window to bottom
Any of those button combinations listed can be clicked and changed to do something else.
