We haven't forgotten about the keys and neither has Blizzard.

We did hear today that they are in the works, but they could not give us an ETA because there was a mix up with something on their end that needed remedied first. Since it's getting close to the end of the work day over there, and since we're not exactly sure what was the hold up, it's not looking like we will get them today, no.

As soon as we know, you will know!

Think of it this way - if you hope (I said *hope* - we don't have an ETA!) to get them for the weekend, then you may get a nice surprise if we happen to get them earlier than that!

It takes longer that 2 hours just to install the patches after downloading.

The wow-4.0.0.xxxxx-to-4.0.0.xxxxx-enUS.patch.exe files total 2.93 GB (not including the 7/21 patch which is 1.36 GB). This patch took about an hour to download and another hour to patch.

We're currently duplicating old content like we did with the StarCraft 2 Beta. We'll start merging stuff in the future but right now we're more concerned with testing content.

turning off p2p definitely increases download speed at first (blizz will push it on their HTTP server cause if no one is sharing it no one can p2p it), after a few days they kill the http feed, or throttle it, then you need p2p to pick speeds up.

So it looks like the upgraded battle net to the new beta version.... and it doesn't take my key.

I go to manage account, add/upgrade game, and get a message that it's invalid (at this page)

Login > Click on "Account" top right menu > Click on "Add Game" green button on the right > enter code.

If I may ask, where are you guys? One thing that was mentioned to me with this latest batch of keys is that the European team is having difficulties.

[Edit]: I've contacted Blizz again, telling them the error message you guys are receiving. I'll let you know when I do.

"The key you entered is not for a game license. This key can be redeemed on the code redemption page."

That sends me to the item redemption page, which I tried just to throrough, but obviously doesn't work there either.

EDIT: US. account is on us.battle.net.

same, eu.battle.net: The key you entered is not a game license, try code redemption.

If I go through eu, I get only one acc listed - my current one and if I login through us I get PTR acc listed as well. I wonder if I just try to add game on us.battle.net if it will let me choose EU server. Anyone feeling lucky to try? )
