Produces serious lag.

just wanted to say that with the last 3 beta versions of carbonite, it is creating some serious lag issues, in high detail enviroments, like feralas for instance, also in instances like ZF for 1, as a standstill is 120fps, running straight is 80 fps and turning is about 10 fps.

But when i disable carbonite, then it's smoother than hot butter.

And i would mention other things, like locations of dungons, qst turn'ins and various other stuff is just off in location, but id assume that is already known about due to the rescaling of the maps.

Or also that when clicking the "show quest giver" button, does not show any quest givers. or at least it does not for me.


and no there is no error message's from anything.

Do you read these forums? You should, as most of your issues are covered (some of them repeatedly in a couple of dozen different threads). The lag issue has not, that I recall, but I for one am not seeing it, so there's something else going on in your case than just carbonite. Possible a conflict with another addon.

I have not noticed any lag issue and this is the only recent thread mentioning lag. Test it with all other addons disabled.

The 2 last carbonites have been lag fest for me aswell.
Not so much in the zones, but when I attacked mobs, it lagged - no exceptions.
I could run around fine in dungoens, but as soon as I hit mobs, my screen stood still.
I have now disabled carbonite and everything runs smooth.

Try disabling all addons except Carbonite. Then add a few at a time until it happens again, that way you can track down the conflict and give us something to work with.
