Is Auctioneer dead?

Hello, I was wondering if Auctioneer is dead. I have used this addon for a long time, but I have noticed that many people are switching to actionator, I love this addon (and hate the UI of actionator) but I fear that if this addon is ever broken it might not be updated! (so in other words, should I be prepared to switch to actionator or not?)

As it is a HUGE addon to the community and a HUGE addon in general, it will either take a long time for cknight to update it or for a fan update to come out. Don't worry, it won't die unless WoW dies.

And I'll take your bananas and add more.

Folks,

As noted in the comments section of the AddOn page, there were some undocumented changes that Blizzard slipped in with 4.2 that, in addition to other magic upon which we had been previously working, is taking a bit of time to perfect.

The beta is available on our main site, as tinyu noted, at http://AuctioneerAddOn.Com/dl/#preview . That is very stable and should be moving to "release" status rather soon; once some more folks give it some testing and all. When the beta moves to "release", it will be available on our main site, here at WoWInterface, and on Curse.
