    While working out what gear to have in different tanking sets I noticed my FPS drop considerably.
    While hovering over an item the in game FPS display (ctrl-r) was dropping from around 44 to 20ish, I tried disabling a few mods to track it down and disabling Lootlink fixed it.
    While I expect some penalty for running a database I think halving my FPS is a bit much.

    I have also noticed that while looking through search results the EquipCompare tooltips are not shown, I am using the version of EquipCompare from Cosmos alpha.

    Which version are you running? Anything older than 7.8.0 could be causing the drop in FPS, but that's not a certainty.
