MapNotes (Fan's Update) has once again been dicscontinued and I'm looking for a replacement besides metamap. Metamap Has way more features than I want. That's why I like your addon you pick the functions that you will use. anyways there are only 2 things about mapnotes I think would greatly improve the versatility (not that there's anything wrong with it) of this addon.
1) Automatic cartographer note population of significant areas. Like this,

THe other awesome feature that magellan had was that when you asked a guard where something was in a major city, for example the bank. It would automatically add a note at tthe loaction of the bank. and it would do that for every place in the city. Saves alot of hassle.
2)Note target this was actually left out of the post bc mapnotes versions but brought back by popular demand. What it does is pretty self explainitory, bind note target to a key target something, hit the key and a note is made.
Simple but very useful.
If you could make a plugin to cartographer for these or point me in the direction of an existing one, that would be very helpful thanks. |
