Morbid is based off of the open source OpenRDX.
This is a modified version of OpenRDX to add more features.
Currently it is in Beta Stage's.
Addition's right now are:
Action button resize feature working.
Pet action buttons.
---------------------------------------------------------------
We are currently working on new features including but not limited to.
Shapeshift bar.
Vehicle exit button.
Improving of the editor's.
Also soon we will release a ui to demonstrate these new changes.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Our feature's we add in will not be allowed for anyone to use in there addons. including the openrdx team.
There will be exceptions to this for performance tweak's.
Any performance tweaks i add in i will send to openrdx via there forums.
These will be the only additions that i will allow to be used.
---------------------------------------------------------------
If you would like to help with MorbidRDX Please pm me with what you can do.
If you would like to add a feature pm me the details and any license information you would like to place on the code.
If you would like to post a feature request or bug report please see my Portal Here.

The essence of what I said (from memory and with personal liberties and modification made by myself) came from a pamphlet on legal issues involving software development, open sourced software, and was in the past distributed to colleges. After further reading, everything (minus any proper names) that I said was (in essence) also in the link to the Open Source Initiative provided by sigg and I shouldn't have taken the time to rehash said information and possibly create confusion. Anything I have posted should be taken lightly as there are far better sources for this information on the internet. However, I understand that this is a heated issue for you and that you were in haste to post a reply. I was in a hurry to reply as well and therefore posted in an overly simplified manner. Such mistakes in interpretation (on either of our parts) is not to be unexpected. No harm no foul and certainly no hard feelings. I wish everyone involved the best of luck and look forward to what both parties create. Thank you. One edit for clarification.

The link provided in a below post is a good summary of the terms to which one agrees when dealing with appropriately licensed open source software (such as OpenRDX). This particular situation would fall under points three and five. One edit for spelling.

Also this came up on the openrdx forums.
As to why i have it listed as beta is simple. A non beta application is suppose to have full features in it. OpenRDX in all don't have all feature's for what they claim is out of beta. This is the only reason it is in beta stage. |

Your license must state it and it didn't, You cant try to use things from another if they have ask you not to. Or is it changed?. WoWI don't allow others to use code that has been asked not to use so if you are to use mine then the same rights other addon authors have i should have as well. Your just wanting my code cuzz i made some features you all was struggling to fix..

We won't stop you if you want to release your RDX. This is normal with OpenSource project.
I simply try to tell you that you should ask us first before publishing your own version. Btw there are something importants that you have to know, RDX is OpenSource under BSD License. That mean : - You are not allowed to change the original license. - You are not allowed to add a second license - As a derivated work, all yours codes added to your version become OpenSource immediately. - You must allow people to use your version with no restriction (distribution, modification) For more information about OpenSource, go to this web site : http://www.opensource.org/docs/osd RDX is OpenSource and it will stay OpenSource.
