Skada Damage Meter

Skada is a modular damage meter with various viewing modes, segmented fights and customizable windows. It aims to be highly efficient with memory and CPU.

Usage

When you first start using Skada, there will be a window created by default. This window can be extensively customized in Skada's configuration panel; click the little cog icon to access a menu, and then click Configure. Depending on your user interface, there may also be a minimap button allowing quick access to this menu.

Skada supports multiple windows. To create a new window, click Windows in the addon's configuration panel. There are three built-in types of windows - Bar, Inline, and Data text. Bar is the classic damage meter window, and is very customizable. Inline shows the meter in a horizontal line, which can be useful for integration in custom user interfaces. Data text shows just one item at a time, and can also be displayed by any LDB display addon, such as Titan Panel, ChocolateBar, or ElvUI.

In the normal Bar window, you can left click on specific items for more detailed information, and right click for less details. At the very "top" is the list of all saved fight segments. Some data modes have several detailed information views. In this case you choose alternate views by holding certain keys pressed while clicking. For example, in Damage mode, you can Shift-click a player to see what enemies the player caused damage to. Tooltips will display how to reach the different views.

You can also use window buttons for selecting fight segment and mode directly.

Scrolling in Skada is done with the mousewheel.

Plugins

Skada is very easy to extend, and there are many extra plugin addons out there that add functionality, such as:

Skada Graphs: Adds graph display systems to Skada
Skada DPSplusHPS: Useful add-on for Disc Priests.
Skada Chat Frame Integrator: Integrates Skada in any chat frame.
SkadaScroll: Provides additional options for scrolling the bar displays
Skada Avoidance and Mitigation: Helps tanks benchmark their damage reduction performance via avoidance and mitigation
Skada for Tanks: Adds information useful for evaluating a tank's performance
Guild Skada High Score: Let's you compare a guild's performance.
Skada_FriendlyFire: Display friendly fire damage done by players
Skada Player Score: Generate combined performance scores for players.

"Skada" is Swedish for "Damage".

It should not, no. This update includes the Tuk texture and gives a name to the background frames, which will make it easier to integrate in TukUI.

There is one issue that I have found though, and it's most likely due to my OCD when I rearrange my UI xD If you look at the bars, the ones on the right start to change in size so they don't match up anymore. I have the same settings on each set. Otherwise great addon!

FallenDarkest A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 2 File comments: 17 Uploads: 0	There is one thing I was hoping you can fix this issue. It seem it wont record the combat until I flagged myself in combat. Which it is the reason why sometime I feel the info on my Skada is not always right. Other damage meter start to pick up the combat even I am not in combat. I was sitting and taking a drink and looking at combat log, and found out it is still spewing out a lot of combats stuff going on but I havent flagged myself in combat, and Skada didnt pick it up until I get in combat first for Skada to pick it up. This was a problem for me in raid sometime because I havent start healing until 10 sec later, a lot of thing can happen within 10 sec but im missing out a lot of info going on. I post the healing meter to my friend and compare to his and found out I am missing out 30K of heals of his because Skada wont record his until I flagged myself combat. Is there any way to fix around this?

I just want it to stay on total damage. 2) I can't narrow down the damage. I click on Augy's name, it shows me the breakdown of his ability damage. I click on Mortal strike, and it shows me the hit/crit %s. But I can't see the actual damage ranges on mortal strike, which is what I am actually after. What can I change to make these two things happen?

You can use SkadaBarWindowSkada. Thats how i parent my panels to it.

right click on Skada until you see two list "Over all data" and "current fight" then click on current fight

If you mean the part that everytime you in the combat, it switch to overall data. Then click on the tool on Skada then click Configure. On the side bar, Click on the + on "Window" then + on "Skada" then click Mode Switching, then click what you want to "DPS" or "damage" whatever you prefer

I couldn't figure out how to check first death log if person died more then 1 time through the fight, it always shows last. For a holypriest, That means you can never find your real death reason in Skada.
