ncMinimap

ncMinimap is an small lightweight minimap enhancing mod. The great part about it is that it has an moving border. There are 4 little objects which move along the border of the minimap. They go fast when in combat, slow when out of combat.

Upcoming features:

Suggest features!

Usage:
Install as normal, use /ncm or /ncminimap to configure the minimap. Click on the minimap is just normal behaviour, middle mouse click opens the calender, right click is tracking menu.

/ncm subcommand [argument] - explanation (default value)

lock - toggles minimap locking, when unlocked you can drag the minimap
scale [number] - scales the minimap (1)
speed [number] - sets the speed for the border when out of combat, set to 0 or negative to hide (20)
combatspeed [number] - sets the speed for the border when in combat, set to 0 or negative to hide (80)
color [r] [g] [b] - red green and blue can be values between 1(lightest) and 0(darkest) (0.6 0.6 0.6)

Yeah, I use my Datatext addon to show new mail, but I'll make an icon in the next version but the PvP icon is there already.

Hi,

Great looking Minimap I like the concept of the border changing colour when in and out of combat.
One question though, is there an indicator when I get a calender invite?

Nope there isn't, I'm sorry. Also, the border color doesn't change, there are little objects moving around the border, and their moving speed changes with combat state.

nightcracker, for some reason the minimap is circle inside the square border..... any ideas? :P

I bet it's MoveAnything interfering since i was hiding the worldmapicon with it i'll check.

Sadly i've deleted all settings, removed the addon, reinstalled, everything i can think of and i still get a Circular mask .

When updating, would you consider looking into a feature that is in Mappy? The nodes flash, which is a big plus for me (old guy with old eyes ). If not, no biggie.

Is it possible to make the border animations more smooth? The 4 object always seem to skip a part near the end just before they go back the other side.

Hmmm, I think this is an UI scale issue. I'll look after it(this is a known problem).

Yes indeed my UI scale is 0.78. Scaling the minimap itself doesnt solve the problem.

Just set my scale to 0.64 and the border animation is very smooth now.
I'm gonna put it back to my scale cause everything else is messed up.
