Nifra's Interface Pack (CaithUI Rendition)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.11
by: Nifra [More]

Disclaimer: This UI is optimized for healers with a 1920x1080 resolution.
You can most definitely make it fit 1650x1080 and any lower widescreen resolutions by tweaking the UI scale (advanced video settings) and by nudging the cast bars (Quartz) a bit.

Installation Guidelines:

- Backup your current Interface and WTF folders just in case.
- Copy over the Interface, WTF and Font folders inside your World of Warcraft folder
- Inside the WTF folder, change "ACCOUNTNAMEHERE" to your account name (not battle.net)! in caps.
- Inside that folder, rename "Your Server Here" to your server name
- Inside that folder, rename "CharacterName" to your character's name (copy and paste the folder if you have multiple characters, and rename the folders respectively).

Addon List:

- Skin: !Beautycase, !TakeThisColor, ButtonFacade, KgPanels, nCore, nMinimap, nTooltip, SharedMedia, SharedMediaAdditionalFonts, TipTac
- Utilities: _NPCScan, AddonManager, Auctionner, DragEmAll, Omen, Prat 3.0, Tekability, Recount
- PvP: Afflicted3, Gladius, LoseControl, TellMeWhen
- PvE: BigWigs, Grid, LoggerHead
- Unit Frames: Bagnon, Bartender4, Mapster, Pitbull4, Quartz, TotemTimers
- Buffs/Debuffs: NeedToKnow, Power Auras
- Misc: !Swatter, Ace3, BeanCounter, DoomCooldownPulse, Enchantrix, Informant, MiksScrollingCombatText, OmniCC, Slidebar, Stubby

Download the Original CaithUI here:
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11255-CaithUI.html

Caith's YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/CaithlynTube

Power Auras:

Shaman:

(Resto) Blue-Green shield pops up when Water Shield is missing. Green design on the sides of the unit frame indicates that Earthliving Weapon is missing.
(Elemental) Blue shield pops up when Lightshield is missing. orange design on the sides of the unit frame indicates that Flametongue Weapon is missing.

Bartender 4:

Hidden Bars:

1. /bar to open the configuration menu.
2. Unselect "Lock" on the top left corner of the pannel to unlock the bars. (All hidden bars should now appear, in green).
3. Select Bar 5 in the menu -> Open the Visibility Tab.
4. Uncheck "Always Hide".
5. Now, check "Lock". You should be able to drag spells and macros to that bar.

Bar 1 & 2: Used for main spells, cooldowns and potions.
Bar 3: (Located on the top left of the chat box, pops up on mouse-over) Used for quick access to mounts, one column I have flying mounts, the other for ground mounts. (This is completely optional)
Bar 4: (Located under the minimap) I personally use this for quick access spells, like rez, mass summon, hearth, etc (Completely optional and up to you)
Bar 5: Recommended for spells that don't have any cooldowns and don't really need to see the icon (such as Water Shield or Beacon of Light etc).

Keybinding:

1. Click on the Key Bindings red button on the top right of the menu. (To be able to keybind, your bars will need to be locked and visible).
2. Mouse-over a button to assign one (or more) keybind(s) to it.
3. Once you're done, click the lock button.
4. Make sure you go back to Bar 5 -> Visibility -> Make sure "Always Hide" is checked.

To-do List:
- Add 1650x1080 and lower resolution WTF files
- Add more Auras for other classes and specs
- Skin the buff bar
- 'Upgrade' to Quartz 3

Term of Use:
All credits go to CaithUI for putting all the work and effort in this shiny UI <3
I just changed it to make it a bit more healer-friendly and added a couple 'utility' mods like Auctioneer for an example.
If you're worried about using too much memory, /am to open AddonManager and you can unselect all the addons you don't need, and re-load them later on when you do need them. It's quite useful!
Feel free to swap out any addons to your personal preferences(like DBM instead of BigWigs)!
Any comments, feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

~Nifra

Love your variation! Two things though; My chat is completely obscured by kgpanels and I can't seem to change it without making the panel completely transparent. It fixes itself if I unlock the chat window, move it a bit, then relock it.. but that it comes back after every relog or reload.

Also is it possible to change the grid appearance? It seems kind of out of place with the other unit frames.

Here is the chat problem:

Here is how it looks after unlocked and moved slightly:

UI Troubles.

I followed your instructions and whenever I get in game, this is what it looks like..

So I'm just gonna assume this UI and I weren't meant to be lol.

Great pack though!

Edit: I fixed that issue, now on to getting quartz up and getting the black bars to go away. And moving my own toon's status bar (as shown below).

Nothing to do with the UI

Also, for your stats, they changed the interface in... 4.0.3: There should be an arrow button just under your trinket slots. It should expand your character window so you can see all your stats
Oke thnx for the reply

There's one addon that you might need to manually adjust, Quartz
so type /quartz, and under the Player and Target options, uncheck enable to unlock them, nudge/drag them so they fit just under the pitbul frames, check enable again to lock them and you're done

1920x1080

Hi Nifra.

I'm playing with a 24" 1920x1080 resolution screen, and even thought you say that it's possible (and I bet it is) to tweak it to fit that size, I fail to do so.

I renamed all the correct folders, enabled the addons you showed in the video, checked 'Load out of date addons', did /reflux switch NifraUI ingame, played around with the UI scale but no matter what I do it won't look as yours.

Please help!

Here's what it looks like:

love it !

Nifra, Keep up the great work! My fiancee will be very happy that someone has taken the initiative to update CaithUI with a very nice looking rendition for healers! Great stuff, thanks.

Not sure what to say except to make sure you have the following addons selected/running (including load out of date addons):

-nBuff
-nCore
-ButtonFacade
-ButtonFacade_Caith <- if you updated that one with the latest version, revert to the one included in the pack
-ButtonFacade_notCaith
-!Beautycase
Ofcourse!

This is how it looks when I hover the number in top-left of the minimap;

As you see the border and background of the frame is misplaced :/

Edit: Yeah, so I found out the function :P Hovering the top left number (number of buffs "stored") shows the buff-frame. But it's not good-looking, the border and background are to small, they only cover about 50% of the area they are supposed to :/

Great interface Nifra! I just picked up my priest and I'm aiming for holy, and this works absolutely great. All I've done is add different custom auras in Powa Big creds to Caith ofcourse, but to you aswell for this rendition

Now, I have a question. I've noticed that when i buff myself with 3 or more buffs (I think that's the mechanism), my buffs becomes hidden and I have to hover the area to the left of the minimap in order to make them visible. This is awesome, if it wasn't for the misplacement of that buff-frame :/
At the moment it's overlapping the minimap, leaving half of the buffs to the left of the map, and the rest overlapping.

Any clues on how to fix this?

Once again, great rendition

Btw i am warlock and i wanna use some of these addons u have on pack not healer's ones . And Also On Addon s That uses profiles there is no NifraUI or the other profile there are only default my char name and then warlock whats goign on ?
Yeah, it's a bit confusing at first because when you log in WoW, they make you use your e-mail (battle.net), so I'll give you an example:

My character's name: Nifra
My character's server: Drenden
My battle.net account name: [email protected]
My account's name: Nifrasaccount

So to import all the profiles and settings correctly, in the WTF folder you would change/rename the following folders:

YOURACCOUNTNAMEHERE = NIFRASACCOUNT
Your Server Here = Drenden
CharacterName = Nifra

And that's it. Of course, except with your own information.
If you're unsure what your account name is, log in to battle.net

It should direct you to your account page... And show a list of your account(s); The account name should be in brackets [ ]

Hope that helped!

edit/fyi: all the account information above is just an example lol, don't bother trying to add realid
