Re: SLTimex not working

I've downloaded and installed your addon into the C:\...Interface\AddOns folder, and when I went into the game, nothing showed up. I tried the /slt /sltimex /timex commands, but no dice. I then installed the ACE Mod Decursive addon, as suggested by Asterix, as well as the kit Ace2.

Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help provided
I tested the addon, alone, without any other Ace libraries individually loaded from either other addons, or the Ace2 lib itself, and it worked fine on cleared WTF/Addon folders.

Did you check the "Addon" button at the Character Selection screen to make sure SLTimex was showing up on the list? If it's not showing on the list, it could be a nesting problem where the folder is either in the wrong place or too deep in an additional unnecessary folder.

If it "is" showing on your list, but not loading when you enter the game after character selection, are there any error messages? Do you have other addons loaded as well (Ace or non-Ace...doesn't matter)? Possibly playing on a Locale other than enUS, zhTW, or zhCN? As much information as you can provide would help...as I'd like to correct the problem if there's something going on that's causing it not to load. Thanks

It's not a Latency-specific problem. Make sure when you hide elements that they don't have other elements anchored to them. Latency is out-of-the-box anchored (or parented) to the Memory module. If you hide the Memory module and then reload your UI, the Latency module is going to inherit the properties of the parent on first load (which means it will be hidden). You can test this by instead of doing what you're doing, do the following:

Fresh Install -> Start Game
Hide Memory module
Reload UI
(Latency will now be hidden with Memory)
Open GUI Options -> Toggle Memory Hidden "Off"
Both Memory and Latency will reappear

So just make sure you aren't anchoring an element to a hidden element and you'll be all set.

FYI, found the problem and r13 will have a fix after some testing.

That is not an error for the current version, however the problem is still present in the current version of SLStats. Looking into it

Update: This has been fixed with SLStats 1.0 r2

Hmm, this shouldn't be the case. The anchor point is set from the justification (Right, Center, or Left). Whatever the justification is set at, the anchor point should be exactly the same. I haven't noticed any growth issues, however I'll look into it a little deeper.

First, thx for so cool addons, a few suggestions if u would like to take advice.
- maybe add it to wowace svn for some localizations and all the time latest libs
- maybe add a file embeds.xml for the people who run disembeded with libs and don`t want 10 errors in FrameXML ( if u need more info on this i will gladly help )
- maybe try convert it to LibSharedMedia-2.0 and SharedMedia2.0 more recent ones
I prefer for my addons to be solely available here at WoWI, and I do not want to update more than one site with releases. Anyone interested in helping out with Locales are more than welcome to contact me directly, as Digmouse has with the zhCN and zhTW Locales.

I'll consider using an embeds.xml file, and I'll certainly update to SM-2.0 as soon as I can. Thanks for the suggestions

Missing elements

I am experiencing "lost" elements upon relog or reload (namely, the latency element disappears and I can't get it back without reinstalling the add-on and WTF folder files.

Also I'm getting the "bumping" error with SL Community.

Otherwise, LOVE these add-ons. I too am sick of reliance on Fubar and Titan for information at a glance...bars are ugly. Can't wait for SLStats.

A comment: I LOVE your addons. I'm addicted to them. They are making it possible for me to get rid of Fubar and Titan things and that makes me IMMENSELY happy since I can't really stand info bars.

A suggestion : If you put a coords module in your SLStats, I'll sing your praises for eternity! And if I had any, I'd pay RL money.

Same as naeem151287, i'll be waiting for SLStats too.

I like the addon, but my main reson for trying it out in the first place was that i didn't have any addon showing durability, which this one does (did).

r9 still works fine for me, so i'll be patiently waiting
