FuBar - SkillsPlusFu v4.1.3
Release Date: 2011.05.03

This add-on combines the functionality of avngr's FuBar_ProfessionsFu, Kemayo's FuBar_KungFu, and smuggles FubarTradeCooldownFu. This add-on is uploaded with their approval. I decided to merge the the first two because they seemed to have a rather large overlap, although both had bits that were unique and very useful (or just plain good looking). I have tried to keep the best of both. Next I wanted to get rid of another add-on on my bar and added the Trade Cooldown functionality. It took me a while to get the salt shaker support correct, as I'm still figuring out the event flow.

On popular demand, I added the option to show the skills for your other toons.

SkillsPlusFu is currently localised only for English, but should be easy to expand to cover other languages. However, by using BabbleLib it should at least properly for those languages supported by that library.

Use
The FuBar menu will display either Skills or the name of a skill that can be used to make things (so, say, Mining doesn't show, but Smelting does). Behind the skill (name and/or icon depending on your preferences) the number of cooldown items is displayed. This display show (total item - items ready) This will not be shown when you have no cooldown items for any of the toons you play.

By selecting the (right-click) menu you see all skills that you can use to make things with for your current toon. Selecting one of these skills will open the relevant skill window and put it's name/icon up in the FuBar. Clicking this later will open the associated skill window again. The last used skill is saved between sessions.

Options
Show skill label - Toggles the display of the skill name (or the text skills) on the FuBar. Use this when you want to show only the icon and the cooldown info.
Show boolean skills - Toggles skills that do not progress, this includes proficiencies.
Show other player skills - Allows you to select which other toons and skills are shown.
Show cross faction skills - Toggles whether the skills mentioned above include those of other faction toons.

Show player names - Toggles display of the player names in the cooldown info
Show cooldown notification - Toggles displaying the cooldown info on the FuBar
Clear current cooldown data - Clears the current cooldown database.
Hide cooldown data for - Allows you to hide a specific cooldown

Complete changelog

Acknowledgements
This add-on is based on avngr's FuBar_ProfessionsFu, Kemayo's FuBar_KungFu, and smuggles FubarTradeCooldownFu. Thanks guys!

I'd like to add a special thank you to avngr who put me on this path by pointing out to me how easy it was to expand FuBar_PetInfo to my wishes.

Furthermore I'd like to thank all of you who helped me by logging bugs and offering suggestions. Thanks!

Thanks for the explanation Jayhawk, must say that I for one would like to be able to display the gathering skills in the list. Hopefully you will be able to include them in the next version!

Hi Grizzly
SkillsPlus basically only shows the skills that use recipes, although I have to admit Fishing is the odd one out here. I left the gathering skills out, so as not to crowd the list too much, but with the option of hiding/showing individual skills, I may add them to the next version. This one will probably follow hard on the heels of Blizzard's 2.1 patch.

Omniwolf, I'll fix that silly folder issue then too. Not sure what happened there...

When using the "Show other player skills" option I don't see Mining, Skinning & Herbalism. It appears that those 3 professions are not even included in SkillsPlusFu which explains why they're not displayed, but why aren't they included?

this version jsut plain doesn't seem to work for me :/
it shows up in the addons list, but its not there in the Fu Bar, and if i right click the bar there's no enable or disable tick thingie like there is with each other addon. all my addons are uptodate using wowaceupdater..

oh man im an idiot. i had copied in the "fubar_skillsplusfu 2.3.1" folder, instead of the "fubar_skillsplusfu" folder which is INSIDE the first folder... can't believe i did that. but it does make it a bit confusing.. why have 2 subfolders?

There was (is?) a bug in the Babble-Race which spells Blood elf incorrectly. I'll double check this weekend if I still need to fix that locally. I'm planning an upload to the previously mentioned bug this weekend, so I'll take this issue up as well.

I think you put your finger on the sore spot. I'll test this and upload if it all goes well.
Thanks!

Same Problem her - doesnt see Toons Skills.

in the default profile there is an option named
["showOtherToonSkills"] - set to "false" via default init

i edited the SaveFile - added the line
["showOtherToonSkills"] = true,
in the Profiles section - and voila - i now see my Toons skills....

if u dont see any Profiles section - just set something via the Menu - Show Language Skills for
example - then u have a Profiles Section i guess

Sry about my english - i hope u understand what i mean

Yes, I'm using the full version not the light one.

["skillsSave"] = {
["Realm|Toon1"] = {
["Cooking"] = {
["Modifier"] = 0,
["Hide"] = true,
["MaxRank"] = 75,
["Rank"] = 1,
},
["Fishing"] = {
["Modifier"] = 0,
["Hide"] = true,
["MaxRank"] = 75,
["Rank"] = 1,
},
["Leatherworking"] = {
["Modifier"] = 0,
["MaxRank"] = 375,
["Rank"] = 332,
},
["First Aid"] = {
["Modifier"] = 0,
["Hide"] = true,
["MaxRank"] = 375,
["Rank"] = 368,
},
},

This is one of my toons. As you can see, Leatherworking should be displayed. Everyting in the saved. lua file is correct but Fubar_SkillsPlusFu doesn't display any of the professions of my toons. I worked before but as I mentioned earlier I had to build up my addon database from scratch and now it doesn't work anymore ./

Highend

Grasping at straws here...
1) You are using the full version rather than the L(igh)t version? I assume you are as you say you have the menu allowing you to switch off skills visible.
2) if you look at the *\SavedVariables\FuBar_SkillsPlusFu.lua
Your toons should be listed in the section:

Code:
	["account"] = {
		["skillsSave"] = {
			["Realmname|Toonname"] = {
And a hidden skill should look like

Code:
				["Fishing"] = {
					["Modifier"] = 0,
					["Rank"] = 250,
					["MaxRank"] = 300,
					["Hide"] = true,
				},

I'm seeing the same thing. Is there any information I can supply that would help you debug this?

Yes, I was clicking on the tooltip. Right-clicking on the menu does indeed work. Thanks!
