A panel that modules can plug into.

Features:

Drag and drop rearragement of plugins.
Any plugin can exist on left or right or be centered.
Automatically adjust frames (can be turned off)
Any number of bars (not limited to just 2), you can attach to the top, bottom, or detach any amount you want.
Can detach a tooltip and pin it to the UI.
Object-oriented design.
LoadOnDemand capabilities for plugins.
Modularity (absolutely no plugins are intimately connected to the core)
Minimal resource usage
Lots of handy features for developers.
Well documented API.
Skinning support
Can change the thickness, font size, transparency, spacing through simple sliders on the right-click menu.
Can place plugins on the minimap, which will function like standard minimap buttons.
Drag the edge of the bar to change its size

When you mouse over an fubar addon text, it lists a different one in the tooltip. Most things do not load or if they do load, they change positions every time. Some show, some don't. Etc. edit 8/30: It is just too broken to use in Beta atm. I have had to switch to titan (shiver). Hopefully things will be working better by the time beta goes live. Was wondering if there was a simple way to get the addon information compiled so I can provide my own report. Using over a hundred addons' and libraries so any easier way to get a list together would be nice.

His last FuBar updates here on WoWInterface were all on 3/25 but all of those mods have more recent updates on Curse. Shame because I personally don't like using the Curse site and especially the Curse client.

I guess its time to move on to Titan Panel and associated plugins then. I will not go to Curse and Ckknight is not known for keeping updates. This is it Folks: move to Titan.

Many if not all the Ace addon community's addons have already been posted on other sites (with the passing of the wow ace updater). I'm sure we all have our "reasons", but to me, giving up on a great addon (that IS btw still being kept up to date) just because of where it's hosted seems pretty silly to me. I'm sure folks will do what they will .. but I for one will continue to use one of my favoite addons as long as its kept up to date.... regardless of where it has to be downloaded it from. Speaking only for myself I wasn't trying to say I wouldn't use FuBar anymore or that I wouldn't use the Curse site to get the updates. When I said it was a shame all I was referring to was that it wasn't being maintained here anymore, because this is definitely my preferred site for getting add-ons. FuBar is almost indispensable to me so if I have to go to Curse to get it, then so be it. But I will do manual installation because I still don't like the Curse client and I still think it sucks that it's not being maintained here anymore.

I am new to WoW and Fubar, I tried looking for info on the functions, the text in the Addon folder is a Changlog, my version is 3.6. I see that you can choose where you want the Icons, right, left or center, yet I seem to have no control over the locations. I don't see a Force Right, Center or Left, or anything close to this description in the Fubar menu. Secondly is there a way to have a Fubar Map Icon for quick access? Thanks for any tips.

Plugins may be found via the "Optional Files" tab above or at http://files.wowace.com/sw-f.html. Many addons also come with their own FuBar plugins for configuration.
