Quse Stream
This UI is meant to be as minimal, low memory and CPU usage as possible while maintaining a full compliment of features.
Supports all resolutions, aspect ratios and almost all languages/client localizations.
Having some knowledge of .lua - or the willingness to mess around with it - is recommended, most addons are configured in .lua.
I have included it with some basic spells for some classes but is mostly barebone.
Please open the SETTINGS.LUA file to add your own spells, all classes have template locations that fit the UI.
HOW TO:
* See Change Log for a full list of changes (please read it!) *
Fresh installations are always recommended!
Installation is a breeze; no WTF folders to rename, no hoops to jump through, no bears to wrastle.
- Back-up your Interface and Fonts folder (if you have a Fonts folder. If you don't have one, don't worry).
- Copy the contents of the QuseUI zip file into your World of Warcraft folder and launch your game client.
- Ensure out of date addons are enabled.
- Once in game, type "/install" and accept.
- Bananas!
Features
*Low memory and CPU *
*Easy Installation*
*Complete "out-of-the-box" support for all classes/specs*
*Healer and DPS raid frame layouts*
(see screenshots)
Raid Frame Indicators
*Note*
Earth Shield, PoM, and Lifebloom
indicators change color based on stack count.
FOR FONT REPLACEMENT:
Font = Pixel Font, 8pt
Font2 = Tooltip Font
FCT = Floating Combat Text
To replace fonts in-game:
- Place your desired font into the "Interface\addons\sharedmedia\fonts" folder and rename to the font you'd like to change.
To replace fonts that appear on the loading screen, chat window, etc...
- Copy your desired font into the "Fonts" folder in your Warcraft folder and rename to the appropriate names present in that folder (skurri, ARIALN__, etc...)
FOR BOSS MOD STYLING:
- Download the file located HERE
Follow the instructions on the download page.
Recommended:
- oUF_MovableFrames, by Haste. If lua editing isn't for you and default frame locations aren't your cup of tea, oUF_MovableFrames will allow you to drag and drop locations.
- Clean Icons - Thin, by Suicidalkatt
Vital if you'd like to keep the sleek square outline look for non-skinned icons. Not included in this download due to its size; some people may or may not care to include it.
TO DO:
- Set up sFilter for new abilities and adjust location (currently not included in package).
- Finish adjusting raid indicator texts and boss debuffs.

I have to say I adore the UI.
Since I stopped playing before Cataclysm and therefore never updated my coded UI and oUF layout I was looking for over 2 months now for a perfekt UI. I found it with yours. Made some tweaks (colors, positions, ...) to fit it to my needs, remove some stuff and added some. And now it's perfect. Thank you. |

RE: Action Bar
Hi, Just started to use your UI and I am so far loving it. However, I own a Razer Naga and cannot play the game without its corresponding actionbar addon. I know you can technically, its more like a personal choice where I choose to not play without it. Anyways, my question is how do I go about disabling the action bar you provided? If I disable it, are there any other things tied to it ? (e.g. casting bar)
I tried to just install it and run with it, but the game messes up with both yours and the naga addon running at once. Thanks again. |

Re: RE: Action Bar
The only thing you'll be missing by disabling the action bar is a timer for the totems. I'm about to update the interface with new additions, the new UF's have a totem bar plugin you can download (haven't decided if I'll include it yet) which will cover the timers from the action bars. So in short, no you won't be missing anything! |

nice update, correct positioning so far ^^
only one question about grid2 is the following position as intended? just asking because previously it didn't stretch beneath player/target

nope, was moved by around 50px left/right of grid, so that there was quite some space in between at first
wellt, at least was with my resolution, and it now looks different. that's why i've asked =) |

In other news, yet another change to buff frames which will match the buff style of the UF and put debuffs back over the player frame (hooray)! Also got a fix for the Grid layout issue and a couple incredibly small tweaks to action bar layout (only thing you'll notice is stance bar). Pushing this asap, sorry for all of the updates in such a small time frame - still working things out =(
