Originally posted by Bizerk I checked the lua files for both tidyplates and threatplates and i have the exact same configuration for the character where i get the bug and my other characters where i dont. I guess ill just have to change theme every time
Hrm... Try making a new character with the same "character"... lol that sounds dumb... but I'm sure you know what I mean. Make a new character and see if it happens on that character as well.
Originally posted by Nananea Hey SK, is there a reason Threat Plates uses Lib-Healcomm 3.0? I noticed in my addon spam that I've got Healcomm 3 going off in addition to Healcomm 4, and Threat Plates is the only addon with Healcomm 3 embed that I have.
It doesn't ... I actually removed the library quite a long time ago, and it was never embeded to begin with so, not threat plates that's causing your spam :P if you're getting any.
Originally posted by suicidalkatt If you're wanting to, you could open the TidyPlates_ThreatPlates.lua file in your "WTF > Account > %YourAccountName% > SavedVariables" folder and making a duplicate profile for your character's name. Make sure you're doing this with the game closed or it won't be saved.
As to what's causing the problem, I'm not sure exactly.

Originally posted by Meebsy I'm noticing a big increase in memory usage inside raids during combat.
When idle I have ThreatPlates sitting at ~300kb but when combat begins it shoots up to ~3mb and continues to rise. I had it show as using 13mb during ToGC(25) a fortnight ago.
Once combat drops it slips back down in usage to just under 1mb and forcing a GC makes it go back to what it was at idle.
NB. Using Tidy Plates 5.9.5 and ThreatPlates 2.2
The mouse over threat feature is generally whats causing it. I'm looking into a way to prevent it from being used while it's "disabled".
I also have noticed a HUGE increase in CPU usage from Tidy Plates. Not sure exactly why it's using so much at times.

Originally posted by Bizerk Its all new, its fine on other chars except this one probably because of the name. I have an "é" letter in it and i guess thats why some settings dont save correctly. Anyway I was hoping a workaround to this was to somehow manually set it as default in a config file.

Originally posted by Bizerk I have a problem with the addon not saving between sessions as a default profile on tidyplates. I have it on 2 characters and the one it isnt saved on has an accent in the name so maybe thats why. It makes me reapply it every time i log in from the menu.
Is there a way to set it as the default setting for tidy plates?
Edit: Just installed the new version and I get the login window which asks me to reloadUI and add threatplates etc etc. Well i get it on every reload and still the only way to turn on threatplates is by applying them from the interface options each time i log in.

- There seems to be a little bug with the white hover border. Sometimes, a nameplate has this hoverborder but I'm not hovering over it. When I do hover over it, and then move my mouse away again, it's alright again, meaning I don't see the white hoverborder anymore.
I've also observed this issue on the default Blizzard nameplates, so it may not be easily remedied.
