Tried it on Dominos, TekBar and HBar. No problems ;)
But the problem you said on addon page is just confusing.
When i join game the stance-bar is like you say. But when i just change location - example: from the AH to Bank - it automatic get normal.

Regarding the curhp/maxhp, what I've done is set the font size to 12 for player + using a different font than the diablo font. I used your old D3orbs addon as inspiration...
