HUD vanished

This is embarrassing, because I have no idea how this happened, but on one and only one of my characters, my hud has vanished.

There's no error. It's just not there. I've looked through the various options, and everything looks like I'd think it should. I'm very confused.

It's working fine on my other characters.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

There's a red button in the middle of the console (top middle of the screen). Try clicking on it.

Oh bless. I had forgotten about that button, and now I see it even hepfully says "No HUD" on it. *blush*

All is well with my UI again. Thanks for the quick response!

I'm betting there's not one single nUI user who hasn't done the same thing, including myself. Therefore no blush necessary.

Ok, I'm having a similar problem. On my druid I have the HUD disabled but it was showing my druid power bar (solar/lunar thing). I was going to try to move it today but now the solar/lunar thing isn't there anymore. And when I click on the HUD button to see if that would bring it back up, no HUD comes up at all. How can I get the druid bar back?

Hmm, try /nui movers and see if its somehow got hidden behind something else.

If not then try shifting it to another hud display and then see if it re-appears.

Tried /nui movers, wasn't there.

Also tried different huds but no hud display with show up no matter what option I have it on.

ok, sounds like a screen shot needed here. You should definitely see a hud layout change when cycling through them. Maybe once I see the screen I can see what might be happening.

Also, you are definitely in moonkin spec when you are having this problem ? As, I am pretty sure blizzard validates your talents before displaying it as I don't see the display on my feral/resto druid.

If more druids are having this problem I guess I could go respec and see if I can get the same thing happening

1) The HUD only displays if you are targeting a player character or a hostile mob. So, that may be why you were not seeing the HUD.

2) The Eclipse bar is *not* attached to the HUD at present (it will be in nUI6) so which HUD it is on shouldn't matter.

3) The Eclipse bar *is* managed by '/nui movers' so you should see a red draggable box in that location when you enable the movers. If you're not, then either you respec'd your toon and don't have Eclipse any more or the bar got moved off screen somehow.

You might try doing the clean install routine and see if that fixes it all...

1. exit WoW
2. go to the [ World of Warcraft ] folder
3. rename [ WTF ] to [ WTF.saved ]
4. rename [ Interface ] to [ Interface.saved ]
5. log in to WoW but do not enter the world
6. if you have an "AddOns" button at the character selection screen, go back to step #1, you are in the wrong [ World of Warcraft ] folder.
7. if you don't see an "AddOns" button, enter the world on any character
8. exit WoW again
9. unzip nUI 5.07.08 into your [ World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns ] folder
10. log in to WoW again but do not enter the world
11. if you do *not* see an "AddOns" button at the character selection screen, go back to step 8, you installed nUI incorrectly
12. enter the world on any toon, the eclipse bar should be back in the center and the HUD should work
13. type '/nui movers' and there should be a red box where the Eclipse bar is
14. drag the bar to the location you want
15. type '/nui movers' a second time to lock it all back down
