recount/omen help

Hey,

My info panel used to display recount or omen, now it cycles between combat log and map? any ideas what went wrong? running nui +

p.s. also have dual info panel pluggin, its enabled but says out of date and apparently isnt working.

if it just started since the new patch yesterday you might have to check the out of date addon thing in the addon screen

Yeah i thought this would be the case, however after checking the box and reloading several times, it still doesnt work.

to install i just extracted the folder and placed it in addons, next to the nui folder. this is hapening for the aura bars mod too :S

Double check but your addon folders should be as follows :

World of Warcraft \ Interface \ AddOns \ <NameOfAddon>
Containing amongst others : <NameOfAddon>.toc

If there seems to be an extra folder before the toc containing folder there is your problem.

yep, the folders are in the addons folder, alongside grid DBM etc... inside it there is a .lua and a .toc called the same thing ie nui_infopanel_stats.lua/toc (i have used both manual install, and curse to install the pluggins, obviously not to update core thou)

the addons show up in the addons screen at logon to wow, and the 'load out of date' is clicked. i tried to replace the normal infopanel files with these moded ones, but all that happened was the infopanel was larger, not containing recount/grid.

id love to get this working again. and perhaps the same thing that is stopping this is also stopping the aura plugin, glossblack plugin, and transparentdock plugin....

surely im doing something wrong!?

hmm, you do have omen and recount installed right ? Most if not all of the info panel plugins aren't a replacement for the addon itself but a way to hide it out of the way when you don't need it.

ok cool, well recvount is now showing, but omen isnt... i have 'Omen Threat Meter' v3.0.7 i think.... it used to show up as 'Omen3' is this why maybe? any ideas on the aura bar thing? any dependencies i need for that?

Ah, omen will only show while in combat unless you have the dualstats plugin. The stats plugin just displays omen in combat and recount out of combat.

The aura bar one I am not sure of as I never used that myself. Hopefully someone else can give you an idea on that one.

many thanks, that explains it. ill install dual, as i dont care about threat so much having greqat tanks in the guild.
