Grid/DmgMeter in same spot

I'm wondering if there is any way to have grid and skada in the same spot. Preferebly altering between them with a tab like the combat/chat logs, although that might seem too much, but at least hiding skada at all times unless i mouseover somewhere, at which point grid would become hidden. Any help is appreciated.

Use kgPanels and create two panels; one for grid and other for skada. Use a tab with onclick functions that shows one and hides the other, then reverse it on the opposite tab. That's how I built my chat | combat buttons.

In this case it is the best to hide the threat meter in combat and show the damage meter out of combat, and vice versa.

He want's to switch between a dmg meter and grid, not a treat meter..

I am very unfamiliar with how I would make the frames in kgpanels, i.e. what to place in events, what to parent the frames to etc.
