Tooltip infopane

I'd love to see an infopane that moves the tooltip to the infopane box when the infopane is active.

Unfortunately, that's not one I can imagine happening... there's so many complications in that... parenting of tooltips, what to do with tooltips that are too big for the info pane, what to do when there's more than one tooltip window (like item compares), etc.

Makes my head swim just thinking about it

Shrink them if too big?

I dunno lol... All I know is that it'd be a cool place to display the tooltips. Anywhere else seems to get in my way from time to time.

Oh! Another suggestion I have is that I like to seperate my guild and party chat from normal chat windows (No guild chat in the same chat window as general/trade/defense.)... Is it currently possible to display this in the infopane? If not, is it possible for you to make it possible? Am I making sense?

There is a plugin for guild chat in the info panel in the "Info Panel Plugins" section of nUI's download area... http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/cat125.html

At least that solves one problem ~smile~

Actually...

I tried that. It completely destroyed the infopane.

The guld chat itself was in the center of the screen. The info pane was the background image and clicking the toggle button would not show any of the infopane plugins.

Not sure if an addon I had conflicted or if it was the addon itself, but when I removed that, Nui worked perfectly again.

What mod do you use for your chat windows?
I would recommend disabling that from what I've read I believe chatter and prat work with the plug-in which is definitely functional

Hmm, strange. Yeah, let us know what chat addon you use if any and I'll see if I can get the same thing happen.
