I like private servers for fun but they fall behind on patches, and most arent even on TBC yet. So good luck to any of them. gg.

. Although it is not permitted by Blizz either (not anymore on public servers at least), he may just have been trying to change the appearance of his toons on his screen. But then you can do whatever you want on the client side, this will not spontaneously change the databases that feed the realm servers and makes your chars the way they are. So it is vain in the first place. I though Warden was only the part that scans memory for opened Windows and Program that would be 3rd party software with infringement tp the EULA / TOS. The MPQ checksumming must be built-in the gamecode itself. Are you sure you used notepad++ to open the ReadMe with Warden

This is not true, it is very illegal to change character models as well. why? Let's take the example of making the WSG flag 100 feet tall so you don't have to find the person anymore. Or perhaps let's try changing the models for the Karazhan building so you can take a staircase right to the top (yes, movement and collision is handled client-side, not server-side). Whether it's Warden or not isn't really a point for us to discuss, or something any of us could care to know. Warden's code and tasks are intentionally kept a secret, and for good reason. In any case, the fact remains that tampering with such files would be very illegal.
