Minion does not follow SymLinks on OS X

For the sake of synchronization across multiple machines, I have the Addons folder on my laptop directed to a separate physical location, and referenced as a SymLink only within the main WoW directory (ln -s was used)

WoW follows this properly... however, MMOUI Minion does not, and attempting to update an addon (TomQuest2) instead ended up simply deleting the addon and reporting an Internal Error within the application.

You didn't get a chmod error on install on Mac OSX? Attached thumbnail.

Fixed it by running : sudo javaws <filepath>/minion.jnlp

where <filepath> is where you put the file, something like /Users/Billy/Desktop/ if you put it on your desktop and your user name is Billy.

I would need your log file to investigate the error. This is something that should be posted to the bug tracker. Please try to post your log file along with it (Should be in something along the lines of /Library/Application Support/Minion/log.txt I believe)

I had already reported it on the bugtracker, was wondering if the OP in this thread had seen the same behavior.

The minion is following symlinks just fine for me.

I am running a fresh install of 10.5.7, fully updated, on my MacBook Pro.
